Business Office Manager

Business Manager manages the administrative business aspects of the campus including payroll, accounts receivable / payable, coordinates human resource activities, maintains resident and employee files, and consults with and supports the Executive Director. This position is the principal point of contact with the management company regarding all accounting, payroll, and human resources matters, under the supervision of the Executive Director and with support from the Home Office.

Concierge

Concierge provides telephone and administrative support to the department supervisors within the community. This position is responsible for inter-office communication, the operation of the telephone systems and the acceptance and delivery of resident, family and guest requests, notes and comments under the supervision of the Business Manager.

Cook

Courtesy Officer / Security

The Courtesy Officer provides security and/or assists residents, families and guests with the familiarity of the campus services. The Courtesy Officer responds to emergency calls, performs security checks on the hour and coordinates the locking down and unlocking of the buildings under the supervision of the Director of Facility Services. This is a Part Time 3rd shift position.

Dining Room Manager

Dining Room Manager supervises all functions in the dining areas of the campus. This position organizes the provision of food and beverage service tableside to residents, resident families and guests. This position supervises the servers, the cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, beverage machines, and all other work areas as well as the taking and filling of orders, servicing buffet lines, and accommodating residents’ mealtime requests under the supervision of the Director of Dining Services.

Director of Facility Services

Director of Facility Services plans, directs, organizes and supervises the short term, scheduled, preventative, and emergency maintenance for the equipment, buildings and grounds of the campus. Provides overall supervision for all maintenance personnel, housekeeping personnel and projects pertaining to each department. Organizes and directs all aspects of the campus’s services under the supervision of the Executive Director.

Director of Member Services

The Director of Member Services serves as a support to the independent and healthcare members for day-to-day wellness needs and as a mediator between the campus and the members family or POA. The Director of Member Services is responsible for the cohesion and teamwork of the Member Services department to deliver outstanding customer service and develop an enriching community program for the members that integrates and meets their interests and needs into their daily routine. In order to meet the interests and needs of the members, the Members Services Department shall interview members to learn about their preferences, lifelong interests, favorite things, and daily routines. The Director of Member Services shall lead the Member Services Department to work together to develop and integrate social events, outings, programs, and activities, with a multitude of choices, for the members of the campus based on what they learn about members. The social program, Treasure Your Life, shall be multi-faceted and reflect groups and individuals interests and needs and provide programming that focuses on the six dimensions of wellness: emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational. Treasure Your Life shall be a well tailored program that includes, but is not limited to, themed events, educational opportunities, social functions, spiritual opportunities, day trips, cultural outings, lectures, informational meetings, and volunteer opportunities. The Director of Member Services shall develop and continually update a file of resources available in the surrounding community to utilize and enhance the programming options available to members. This position also coordinates the joining of marketing and social events under the supervision of the Executive Director.

Floor Tech

Floor Technician assists maintenance and housekeeping personnel in the preventative maintenance programs for the flooring at the campus. Responsibilities will include the completion of all assigned work orders and floor cleaning or repair projects under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director of Facility Services.

Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN assists the care plan team in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of resident assessments and care plans. This position charts for assigned units, assigns residents to nursing attendants as needed, and assists in the medication management, dietary restrictions and overall healthcare programs for the residents on an assigned unit under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services or Charge Nurse. Current openings include Part Time 1st and FT 2nd.

Life Enrichment Leader / Activities Leader

MDS Coordinator

The Minimum Data Set Coordinator is responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of the standards of nursing practice and objectives as it relates to the Minimum Data Set requirements and with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. This position develops a proposed plan of care in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team ensuring that the plan of care is consistent with the current health assessment for every resident under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services. Weekend RN Supervisor

The RN will deliver person centered care based on the needs and interests of the residents while preserving their dignity and quality of life. RN provides assistance and support for the activities of daily living; including but are not limited to dining, housekeeping, and life enrichment, which are a part of the residents’ daily choices. RN assists the care plan team in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of resident assessments and individualized care plans using the web-based program Keane. This position documents for residents in their neighborhoods, assigns residents to nursing assistants as needed and assists in the medication management and overall healthcare programs for the residents on a neighborhood under the supervision of the Director of Nursing/Healthcare Administrator.

Our Policy

Senior Living Communities conducts thorough pre-screenings for all new hires upon employment and continues to uphold the following policies throughout the duration of employment. These policies are to protect the safety of our residents, employees, visitors and contractors.

  • Drug-Free Workplace. We drug test all new employees upon hire. Random and reasonable suspicion drug screenings are continued throughout employment. Drug screens are ordered for all parties involved in work-related accidents.
  • Tobacco-Free Community. Employees are prohibited from smoking and/or using tobacco in any form anywhere on company property at any time. Violations by employees will be immediate dismissal and termination of employment. To read more information, view "Our Pledge".
  • Criminal Checks. We conduct thorough background checks on all new hires and analyze all convictions, including misdemeanors. A conviction of a crime will not necessarily disqualify an applicant from employment. Failure to indicate a conviction, regardless of the recency or severity, will be considered a falsification, which is a disqualifier from further consideration, and if already hired, is grounds for immediate dismissal and termination of employment. If an employee is convicted of a violation of a law during employment, it is their responsibility to report the conviction to their Business Manager.
